In what circumstances would suicide be acceptable?

I believe that suicide is acceptable based on the person. I would rather take my own life, than die of old age, cancer, disease. I've always felt this way. I think that it should not be illegal considering the fact that it is your right to do what you want to your own body.

Suicide is against the law in the United States and I am morally opposed against suicide.

Its not acceptable under any circumstance because our society believes that most suicidals comtemplate due to troubles they face.  Troubles to them are major; when in reality they aren't as big as they seem.  

I believe lots of folks are suicidal for example, smokers.

It is not acceptable under any circumstance ever i have had 6 friends kill then selfs cause of stupid thing like losing a girl friend  are a rocker killing them self it is real stupid to just want to kill your self over nothing all the time
