  1. pentecostal christian

  2. Go to the myth section and see how many people talk about Vampires.  It makes a person wonder what is going on out there.

  3. Why did #1 assume that this was a religious question?  If we were to talk about crazy religions, let's talk about the Catholics.  I won't be offensive and say that they are crazy, but there are some beliefs within this religion that some would label crazy.

If we are not talking religion, I would have to nominate the culture of gang bangers.  I think that it is crazy to shoot people for the color of clothing that is worn; I think that it is crazy for gang members of color to shoot each other; I think that it is crazy to live a lifestyle that the only outcome is early death, incarceration, or disability.

Then again, we don't have to go that far, we can turn on our television and see that our politicians are crazy, so we really have no choice, because fruit doesn't fall too far from the tree.

  4. my culture. Wlecmoe.

  5. Most traditional cultures do. And though I didn't think of it, ours too. (Pent.)

You didn't really define 'craziness'...so I am assuming you mean different (speaking in tongues ie to the Gods... having 'visions'etc)

The fairly modern Euro villages took care of their 'idiots' attributing meaning to their ramblings and changing behaviors as 'omens'...Even deformities are looked at as 'special' people annointed by god(s)...(English,French, Spain,Italy)etc.  Better to try to find a culture that didn't which would be the n**i's, Spain during the Inquisition.

  6. the aborigines of Siberia have a law making the most nervous unstable tribesman an inspirational leader of social importance

  7. A few native american cultures do. Take the Lakota Siuox.

A person who dreams of thunder, the Thunder beings finds himsel having to act in what can be considered a crazy manner. This person as the tradition dectates has to do eveything backward, Thats everything, He has to speak the opposite of what he means, walks backwards. But such people are considered sacred as with most anyone else who may be insane. such people were thought to be touched and marked as special by the Spirits.

  8. The concept of "crazy" is sort of a social construct, no?

I mean, some cultures sacrifice animals to spirits so that they won't harm them.

Christianity isn't all that sane if you think about it. People think they're communicating with some invisible thing in the sky. That could be a mental illness if you think about it. So, my answer is all cultures are "crazy" and all are "sane", it's about your perception.

  9. Define craziness.

  10. Democrat Party.
