In what movie does a pet goldfish in a plastic bag get accidentally left on the trunk of a car?

Camera follows the fish sloshing back and forth in the plastic bag as the car drives off. The sequence lasts for a little while. I can't remember if the fish dies at the end or not. Might be a foreign film--I thought it was Amélie but my friends say I'm wrong. Perhaps a similar movie?

It wasn't Amelie, though there was a funny goldfish scene in that movie.  The goldfish was suicidal, and kept jumping out of the bowl, and gets stuck beneath the refrigerator.  After they got the goldfish out, the mother made Amelie set the fish free in the river.

In "What about Bob" there is a goldfish that's kept in a jar tied around Bill Murray's neck . It' s name is Gill, but I don't remember him being left in a car trunk.
