Yondaime is not the leader of akatasuki. People say Pein is the leader, but the person who is really controlling akatsuki is Uchiha Madara aka Tobi.

There is one scene where you see pein's body and it looks a LOT like Naruto's dad.  THat's it.  It isn't him.  Jeriah would have noted it. FOr SURE.

I don't really know the manga,but you're partially wrong, Pein is the leader of Akatsuki not Yondaime,Yondaime is the 4th Hokage, his name is Minato Namikaze and the dad of Naruto....

the leader of akatsuki ISNT yondaime. i think that was just some rumor that went around on the web for a while. if you read the manga, its PAINfully (hint hint) obvious it isn't yondaime. well, then there's another guy whos controlling it from the shadows, but it most definitely isnt yondaime. =]
