In what numbers do grasshoppers live in it’s communities?

Ex. 42 grasshoppers per cubic metre

it would help to know were you live in Ontario the grasshoppers hatch mid to late May and begin to be a nuisance in mid June they die off mid Sept with the first frost

every year varies with there populations it seems we are on an up swing lately

If you have a good backyard you can have hundreds per cubic meter. They need food. MORE food, MORE Grasshoppers. LESS food, other grass to live.
