  1. carburator, intake manifold, head cover, rockers, heads. and alternate like the guy above me said.


  2. You can remove them in any order. But there is a sequence to put them back.

  3. The rule of thumb is to start from the center and work your way out. It is far more important to use a sequence if you have aluminum heads. With cast iron heads it is not so important.

    Aluminum=use a sequence

    Iron= rip 'em off!

  4. if you have a manual showing the sequence to torque the bolts, removal is the exact opposite. if you dont have that, start at the ends of the head, alternating front  to rear, working your weay towards the middle of the head. hope i explained that clearly unough for you. good luck
