In what order should i do this, lifting weights then swim or swim then lifting weights?

  1. we always swim and then lift or do dryland exercises. your heart is already pumping and you are ready to go.


  2. I lift weights and then swim -- because I want to have very good form when I lift weights, and I don't want to be too tired to lift properly.

    That's not to say form isn't important when I swim, but I can get a lot out of swimming slowly, which is what I do when I'm tired, but you don't get much out of lifting less weight because you are tired and you can really injure yourself if you lift weights with poor form.

  3. swim and then lift weights.  It is a lot better trust me! you get your cardiovascular going and then lifting weights....it is better for your body, and more effective!
