  1. Tintatintahan (Eclipta alba), Alikbangon (Commelina diffusa), and Horseradish Tree (Moringa oleifera) are all native to the Philippines and have coagulant properties.  All can be used for Vegetable Rennet.


  2. The proteases papain ( Carica papaya ), bromelain ( Ananas comosus ) and ficin ( ficus carica )  have coagulant properties and their stock plants are cultivated in the Philippines.
