The Gulf of California also known as Sea of Cortes, an the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic is  east of Gulf of Mexico and East of the Caribbean..

So is not Possible

You  would  most  certainly  be  in the  Florida  Keys in  the  US.........

In  Mexico    you  would  be  in  Quintana Roo......but actually  be  looking  at  the  Gulf  of  Mexico  and the  Western Carribean
