  1. The only place I see barefoot people is on the beach.

  2. None . . . but you'll find people wearing thongs everywhere.

  3. I'm from Potts Point and I would often go outside barefoot, which probably wasn't too smart because I could have walked on anything, but I like being barefoot.  I once kicked my toe so bad that I had to have 4 days off work.

  4. Outside in my yard, i dont wear shoes..

In the street, i dont if I need to walk a few houses down.. If i'm walking to the shops, i wear thongs or shoes..

  5. I have seen a few websites that appear to give the impression that many Australians go barefoot.  However, this is not something that I have seen much of during my 16 years here.

One website refers to 50%-70% of children going to school barefoot, but my experience has been that kids would be sent home from school if they had no shoes!

  6. Manly, Bondi, Cronulla (the beaches in Sydney).

  7. You used to see a few barefoot people in Newtown - not so much now. It's probably smarter to wear shoes outside anywhere in Sydney
