  1. I pray each day for a loving world and thank him for a better life and all he gives me and all of us

  2. In prayer and worship, in singing hymns and spiritual songs, in ministering to others, and in striving to bring glory to him by all we think, do, and say, we behold the Lord Jesus Christ because we are walking in the light of his glorious gospel and he is revealed to us.

  3. One need only look around; She is everywhere.

  4. Very important. By reminding myself to behold the glory of the Lord's grace.

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (2 Corinthians 3:18)

This verse comes from 2 Corinthians 3, where the context is about law vs grace, the ministry of death vs the ministry of the Spirit, and the ministry of condemnation vs the ministry of righteousness.

The law of Moses, written and engraved on stones, ministers death and condemnation, because it holds everyone guilty before God. (2 Corinthians 3:7) But the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ ministers life and peace, because His grace gives us right standing with God.

"Therefore, having been made righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)

"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:17)

The law was given not to justify man by, but to show man his sinfulness and thus, his need for a Saviour. Grace was given to justify man. The law demands, but cannot lift a finger to help us. Grace imparts righteousness to us by faith in Jesus Christ.

In my day to day life, I would partake of the Lord Jesus Christ as my daily portion of grace. He is my undeserved favour. He is the One who places me at the right place at the right time to be blessed and be a blessing. He is the One who gives me preferential treatment with people. He is the One who lifts me up whenever I fall, and gives me superabounding grace to overcome weaknesses and troubles from the flesh, the world or the devil. He is the One who gives me divine enablement to serve the body of Christ and to bless others.

  5. It was last night when I heard a Celeen Dion song: "Don't Give Up On Your Faith". It hit me so hard, I got on my knees and cried, and thanked the Lord for sending me such a beautiful 'song' that came straight from HIM!!

  6. Take time for god?  You know I pencilled god in for a one o'clock appointment last Tuesday.  Once again a no show as always.

  7. Each day I need to turn and yield my heart to the LORD.

It is an expression of love within my heart for Him!

We are exhorted by Paul to pray without ceasing.

    Revelation 3 v 18 says

"I counsel you to buy from me gold tried in the fire that you may be rich." - There is gold available to us. We are called of God to obtain those riches which are only found in Christ.

We need to turn our hearts inwardly, for the Lord is found in our spirit, it is there we meet with Him,  as we spend time with the Lord, turning our hearts to the presence of God by faith.

The Lord's chief desire is to reveal Himself to us, and so we enjoy the experience of His presence as we turn to Him without distractions, savouring the His Word, and tasting of His bounty - of course - all this, so that we can go out each day and be a sweet and smelling savor in a dark world.

  8. to behold and reflect the glory of a murderous and inconsistent being; no way! ..please let us spare the public of these christian perks. keep the reflection to yourselves. we do not need your god.
