In what way is Obamessiah more qualified to be President than Sarah Palin?

How is Obamessiah more qualified to be president than she is. His being a wannabe Jesse Jackson Community Organizer? His time in the Illinois Senate? Mrs. Palin had 11 years as a councilman and Mayor. His 175 days as Senator before taking the next two years off to run for President? She's been governor of Alaska more than 175 days.

    since you are talking about her experience let me remind you that her counciling duties revolved around a "city" of probably 100 people if not less.

  3. He's really good at telling people what they want to hear vs. the truth.

    He's really good at promising to give things to the people, espacially those who have no idea of the cost to deliver these things, ie "free healthcare".

    He's really good at fooling the less intelligent. Change and No More Business As Usual in Washington vs. choosing a 29 year Washington insider from the Senate and attack ads and speeches.

    Of course there are all those bi-partisan bills he co-authored and had passed, like McCain - Feingold. You know Obama - nothing, and then there's Obama - nothing, and of course there's Obama - nothing.....sorry, he's very experience at missing votes or voting "Present"

    And the geniuses here keep comparing their Presidential pick to the other sides Vice-Presidential choice.

    Richard_SM - Europe never learned the lessons of WW1 or WW2. They are so afraid of confrontation they avaid it at all costs. Then when they do address it, the problem it so big it results in millions of lives. Give us ONE example where Europe took the lead on anything, other than Ms. Thatcher standing up to Argentina over the Faulkland Islands, with a positive outcome.

    Sarah Palin is an accomplished, smart, and moral woman who brings alot to the mccain ticket.  While she is realitively inexperienced her executive experience alone makes her in many ways more qualified than obama to be president.  Obama has an extra couple years experience but of course in congress which is notorious for long breaks, and is not a position of executive authority.  Palin has more experience in dealing with energy, commanding uniformed assets, and running a government.  The biggest caveat to this question is the most crucial component is that Palin is running for Vice President which means she is in far less need to be prepared to run the government on day 1 where as obama would have to.  No one can truly be ready to be president there is no training that will make someone 100% ready and even great men have been bad presidents.  Sarah Palin is as least as prepared as Obamessiah but she is so in a position with much less demand and more time to learn which is why Palin/Mccain gets my vote after Obama and his message of change (a 35year vet in the senate) Biden

  8. Because he made it this far on his own. His rise was practically eminent, if he wasn't running this time he would be next time.

    Sarah Palin was never going to make it this far without being someones VP.

    Also there is Harvard Law vs. being a housewife.

    Of course law school means something, its a start to a career. You cant practice law without it.  So it means something to someone who wants to be a lawyer.

    I will gladly tell your wife she is unqualified to be vice president, and that she has no business in politics.

  11. I don't think a councilwoman or a mayor or Governor less than

    2 years of running just a State is the same as being in the US

    Senate. Foreign affairs are not State issues!
