Question:

In what ways can I clear my computer?

I 'm thinking my computer needs to be "cleared". what i mean is when I empty out my recycle bin, nothing can show that whtever file was on here was ever there.

If this is still confusing...(which computers really r 2 me) when someone makes a search (NOT on the INTERNET) but for the computer, if they look for the file i deleted, they won't see a hint it was ever there. i tend to notice that even if i deleted something, the files get found once they're searched.

Please, please help. I'd like very much to do this. is it important tho??

  1. are you a p**n addict? lol

make sure you delete your history (go into internet explorer/firefox/whatever and press   ctrl + h)

then make sure you delete your cookies (right click the start menu and click search, and search My Computer for the Cookies folder. DO NOT DELETE THE   INDEX   FILE)

if its actual files that youre deleting, then make sure when you empty the recycle bin it asks you if you want to "permanently delete the files"

  2. Can you reboot it or something. Maybe that would help?

  3. disk defragment

  4. when you empty your recycle bin you can get those files back but if you want to clear progams off your computer go to your control panel but if you dont know much about computers dont touch it because you might mess up us computer. but books well help and exploring

  5. Download and run CCleaner, it is the best :)

  6. When you're deleting stuff, press SHIFT + Delete if you want the file completely removed from your hard drive. As for the stuff in your recycle bin, just right click on your recycle bin and click empty recycle bin. Hope this helped.

  7. open your recycle bin delete the file then in your start menu see if there is a most recent document option is so see if its in there if not ..try to search for it. if you find it then look at the location , go find it and delete it from there.

  8. go to control panel

    click onto programs link

    click uninstall programs

just uninstall and clear everything you don't need

  9. erase your temp file and then make a new one.

As for other applications like microsoft word and so on I am not sure usually pictures you viewed online will also be in your cookies internet explorer clear those

You could also do a disk clean up by right clicking on your hard drive and click properties you will get a graph with disk clean up on lower right that should clean up those temporary files.

  10. yea system restore works but this also deletes everything you have done or looked at (p**n lol)  i

    http://www.ccleaner.com/

yes its free to dowlnload all u do is check everything and click run cleaner its that easy

    good luck

  11. You computer should have came with a rescue disk or start up disk. With this disk you can wipe out everything including any traces that you were on little boys.com Once you've done this it will turn your comp into what's call "store bought condition" meaning everything you have installed or downloaded will be gone including all your security updates you may have downloaded the same as it was when you bought it

  12. try system restore cd

    but it deletes EVERYTHING

  13. ok, im a real nerd on computers so just follow wat i say, lol, go to ''start'' click on ''Run'' type in 'regedit' and click on current user, when you have done that click on current user and delete it, all files that arent used or corrupted will be deleted, and know one can see

  14. have u try ncleaner? here is the link

    http://www.nkprods.com/ncleaner/

  15. Search for the file and delete it from the search list. Sometimes files get stored in multiple places, so you have to delete it multiple times. Then clear your bin.

  16. Hmm... completely delete a file. There is a command that you can run in the command prompt called cipher. It goes like this:

cipher /w:driveletter:\foldername where driveletter and foldername correspond to the drive a location of where your deleted file used to live.

So as an example, if I wanted to delete the picture file Dogs, I'd find the file (C:\dogs) and to permanently delete the file you would type:

"cipher C:\dogs" and it will be gone forever :D

An easier way to do this is to delete it, empty the recycling bin, then run a disc defragment. Its easier, but can take hours to delete the smallest file.
