In what ways can carers enable people in care to develop their full potential?

Careers can only enable people to develop their full potential, when they choose a career that is above their present position.  That is to say, that  the position must be greater than their present station in life.  The career must cause the individual to learn and must be a challenge.  Too many mediocre people have mediocre Jobs that do not offer any advancement.  Some of them get comfortable and become satisfied with mediocrity.

To advance in ones career one must be challenged to reach higher levels.  If one makes it to the top and is still not challenged, then they need new goals and aspirations.
