In what ways did 9/11 benefit the U.S.?

I know the owner of the towers received billions of dollars from insurance, George Bush's approval rate skyrocketed, and many totalistic laws were passed under the assumption of one being a terrorist (useful for a New World Order) but what other benefits did the government get from the 9/11?

It got our guard up.  It proved that Bushes like to waste money in war and that we are stupid enough to go along with it for a couple years and reelect him.

we did not benefit from 9/11 in any way.

thousands of innocent people died that day. how did anyone benefit from that. sicko.

When 9/11 happens Then You are angry at stupid questions but when such attacks happen at poor countries you give answers like Who cares And questions like when they will eradicate etc. so first of all treat Human Beings Like Humans.
