  1. The founding fathers were slave-owning plutocrats who were solely interested in beating the taxation that the British required them to pay. In other words, the only real freedom they were interested in was the freedom to dodge taxes. They didn't give a fig about the common man, much less the oppressive conditions that their own slaves endured. In other words, they are no different than the wealthy elitists who make up the top 5% of our nation today: they are only interested in manipulating the system to get the most preferential policies and services that they can get while NOT paying anything for them. It's the rest of us taxpayers who get dumped with the pricetag for all the government largess that the wealthy enjoy.
