In what ways has America committed crimes against humanity?

Immediately after the 9/11 attacks, many nations around the world offered support for America to attack back, however Iraq's official response statement was this "the American cowboys are reaping the fruit of their crimes against humanity."

As if they haven't.  Everyone has.  I imagine that we are all reaping the fruits of our labors.  Now if only we could put all this energy into helping eachother instead of fighting, but greedy power tripping control freaks run the world...  Who else, but a greedy power tripping control freak would get into such a position...  To run this world.

We are a horrible nation who has given rights and freedoms to women, and encouraged free thinking, as well as acceptance of other cultures and lifestyles.  While we're not perfect, I certainly wouldn't call these crimes against humanity.

Well if you discount the rape of African slave women for about 100 years, and the mass killings of native Americans and The concentration camps for Japanese AMericans and murder of our WWI veterans who just wanted their promised bonuses and the inhuman experiments performed on poor African American men in the 40's etc etc, I'd say yeah, we're a pretty humane people.

In addition to committing crimes against those from other countries, the US has a big problem with crimes against humanity at home. The Human Rights Watch has a list of such violations to which the government turns a blind eye like widespread police brutality, terrible prison conditions, child labor, and poor civil rights for g**s, lesbians, and immigrants.

Just who is that determines if a country has committed crimes against humanity?  When the pilgrim fathers landed in America they brought with them smallpox, measles, strong alcohol Is that a crime against humanity? NO When the inquisition was imposed by the Roman Catholic church, was that a crime against humanity?  NO When the United Kingdom held control in over 2/3's of the planet and invented concentration camps, was that a crime against humanity? NO.

When Adolf Hitler systematically set about to kill all Jews Gypsies, communists. lunatics, homosexuals and to breed in their place an aayran race. was that a crime against humanity? YES. When PolPot killed millions of  educated people and built mountains of skulls, was that a crime? Yes Genocide is a crime against humanity

Who dares to accuse the USA of such things?

Who dares to denigrate their own country in that fashion?

If you are not happy in your own country then go to Iraq, Zimbabwe, Iran and many others to live in a country that DOES NOT defend democracy. Be glad that you live in a country that has men and women prepared to lay down their lives in defence of the very freedom that allows you to say such things. Some people should be ashamed.

None of the following actions in no way justify an attack as horrific as 9/11, however America does not have a perfect record with regards human rights.

Starting from the beginning.

Mass slaughter of the native Americans.

Burning "witches"

Assimilation of the non Anglos

Slavery

went to war with it's own people.

Dropped not one but two atomic bombs on civilian targets.

Vietnam.

That is to name a few...
