In what ways has your view of distance learning changed since u started your classes?

I think it can actually be BETTER than classroom learning...but the instructor needs to be experienced and understand how to both use technology and facilitate interaction among students.  

Also, I think it is more important for the instructor to follow the thread of where students are heading in a distance format than in a regular classroom.  

Finally, I think having at least one in person meeting, if possible, really helps make the distance part more meaningful, since the students can build relationships and commitment to the class.
