  1. They haven't.

    GM is used to produce some of the components of horse feed - but no GM horses have been made, AFAIK.

  3. To genetically change horses you must breed certain horses for certain traits.  These changes have benefited man by building a stronger animal who has more endurance, is stronger for better farmwork, is bigger for battle/war, and so on
