  1. I don't think any African countries are officially doing anything about population.  India has a  law stating you can't vote if you have more than one child.  China has a law stating you can only have one child.

  2. 1 child law-only 1 child per family is allowed. leaving them with no food and giving them diseases plus lots of hard labour.

  3. Africa is a continent comprising of 54 countries. Aids was put in several countries. for the most part Africa is uninhabited - mountains, rough terrain, forest, desert etc. it is about three times the size of the US. China limits the number of children. Not sure about India.

  4. well the most common would be birth control , not the PILLS but restricting the amount of babies a couple can have

  5. China has had policies in place for many years now, which motivate parents to have only one child through tax incentives.

India and many nations in Africa cannot afford such practices.  Western nations, especially the U.S., have been responsible for at least some of this problem through the withholding of $ donations for anyone practicing birth-control, with the full blessings of our current Bush regime', for example.

Aids medication in Africa is not available, for the most part, as Western drug companies charge incredibly high prices. And they hold all the patents.
