  1. i feel like college is not better than nfl, the only difference is there isn't any money involved with the players,(that we know of). People are very passionate about their team or their school, but I know tons and tons of people that are very passionate about their pro teams. I love all kinds of football, and my favorite team in college is Virginia Tech. I mean I practically live only 30 minus away from campus, but i can honestly say as a fan I'm a bigger Redskins, I mean I have a bedroom in my house completely devoted to anything that their logo on it. It is their shrine so to speak. I don't think that college is any better than pro, the passion of the players in college are outstanding, but lokk at the giants last year, their entire team wanted that super bowl, so they went out there and took it. That's passion.

  2. fans are way more into it, no doubt. Plus these guys have more to play for, so they play harder, they have the NFL dream so they are gunna kick *** to get there, plus no politics

  3. nfl is better becuz it doesnt have 100 teams and hit harder and more difficult plays like 34 right post pattern PA break right pass lol but college has a different overtime that i like better and more championchip games and no playoffs

  4. the only things that i think are better are the actual fans in the stadium and the stars of college players and the way they play. College football can be dominated in ways that the NFL can't. Look at Reggie Bush, he was dominate in college but hasn't brung that into the nfl. Also, hearing the fight song and the bands after my fav team score is something u dont see in the nfl

  5. I feel that college football is much much more entertaining. Those guys aren't at the top yet. They are stilll trying to get there. They are going to school while they work their butts off on the field. Now...whether they work hard in the classroom or not..there's no telling, but they are prioritizing where as the only other thing the NFL guys have to do (some of them) is spend money on houses and lavish things, and drugs, etc. Being a college athlete...I do believe that those college football players have so much more desire. They are younger, and they have more to work for. More on the line.

And of course the fans are better in college football! What's better than a parking lot full of wasted college students going nuts over their team? Haha. No..but there's a student body that no NFL has. I don't think it has much to do with the alma mater..just the drive of the college athlete.

  6. You have USC and Notre Dame to hate with all your passion

jjjoel - what are you smoking?  Most big name schools have assigned seating now.

  7. It's more about glory and defeat...than about $$$$$

  8. I don't see a difference I personally like both, I think that people like college better because its more exciting and there are more turnovers, and scoring, and not just having to punt every possesion like NFL

  9. i love NFL football.....i don't watch college football.  sorry!

  10. There is no Brett Favre.

  11. you don't have to pay like 100000000000 dollars to get a front row seat. First comes first

  12. I think Pro is better alot of college games are onesided look at Ohio State they play Youngstown State, Ohio and Troy

LSU's first 3 games are against Appalachian State, Troy and North Texas.

I wish the big time programs that want the BCS Title would not play such soft schedules

  13. yea i agree bout the fans

theres also never anything bout holdouts over money or stupid stuff like that

but i think just the playing is more exciting, idk why but its just so hype and the stadiums are so loud

    anything can happen

  14. Awesome question and I believe I have the answer(s).  One, location makes a difference.   I was born and raised up north and not many people at all watched college football (besides local teams), but you couldnt go to a bar to watch NFL games, because it was so packed with people.  I than moved south (Florida) and noticed the exact opposite, college rules in the south, period the end.  Its a matter of history, tradition, and academics.  Its about pride and companionship.  Its more of a family in college.  In the NFL it seems more of a job than fun.

Secondly, the best fans are in college.  Young, energetic, crazy college kids getting together and going crazy at football games, showing school spirit and team spirit.  Nothing can get you excited like watching a college football crowd.

Lastly, when you are in college you are playing to go somewhere.  These are kids busting there *** off trying to get into the NFL, playing with pride and love for the game.  When you get into the NFL you are playing for money--dont get me wrong, there are alot of pro's that play for the love of the game, but not like before.

So these are my personal opinions, I love college more than anything.  Its more fast paced, more exciting and just plain old school fun, like high school football was!!
