Use of fur.Causing pollution and deforestation destroys their habitat & they die without their homes.Eg.oil spills in water kill the marine life, deforestation destroys their nest breaking their eggs.

there are many reasons but i think main attention must be given to pollution and deforestation.

everyone start polluting from first step of his morning work

both are internally linked with eachother;

care of one solve the problem of other also.

1.Oil spills is a big thing.

2.Deforestation is laving them without home which kill them.

3.Fishing nets are accidentally catching dolphins...they can't get out then they drown.

All of the above answers are good ones. Another reason is poaching and over hunting. Although over hunting, legally, has gotten under control for the most part, poaching is still a major problem in many parts of the world.

The African white Rhino nearly become extinct due to poaching for their horns. Elephants, too, were nearly wiped off the map because their ivory tusks were so desireable.
