In what ways is the circulatry system affected by nurtients in the human body?

Generally speaking, when you take in nutrients, they are absorbed into the blood stream.  You can think of the circulatory system as a highway in your body.  It's main function (there are others also) is to deliver nutrients to your body's organs and tissues.  Every system in your body is dependant on recieving adequate nutrition.  If they don't (including the circulatory system) they don't function at the optimal level
