  1. Maslow is a theorist (psychology)

    Theorists have thoughts, opinions, values, beliefs & their theory simply reflects how or what they believe about how life/people think/act etc.  It's like making a statement reflecting on life and how they think it 'works'...


  2. Our ideas, our thoughts, our emotions...are shaped by our personal experiences.  For example, if we have endured extreme trauma, we will see trauma and its perceived effects through our personal cognitive and emotional prism.
