  7. i remeber when i was down in mississippi i was about 7 or 8 years old and my dad needed gas for the old truck and i remeber seeing the price at 98 cents amazing aint it bt that was around 1993 or 94

  8. 1998. gas was 79¢ in New Jersey, i was driving a 1988 Ford Festiva and paying $10US to fill my tank! I miss those days!!!

  12. um yeah... ha.. are you kidding me? just about 4-5 years ago or sooner than that gas was less than a dollar. when i got my drivers license (not sure the year.. i was 16 and im 21 now) i filled my car up and gas was .99/gallon. and when i was younger it was even cheaper..

    Im in the US and i dont know what you guys are talking about but it wasnt but a few years ago... people should probably say what country they are from when they answer this and there wouldnt be so many different answers.

  17. when I first got my car in 2001 gas was $1.44 a gallon- it cost me less than $20 to fill up my car and it was like a 15 gallon tank!
