The place where the equator and the central meridian cross lies west of Gabon and south of Ghana, in the Gulf of Guinea.

Otherwise, there is no real centre.

The world is three-dimensional.  Its centre is not a point on its surface, but 6400km. below there.

It's possible to project the world's surface onto a two-dimensional plane, but you could pick any point for the centre of that plane and the projection would still be valid.
