In which episode of Buffy or Angel does Angel see Buffy before she came to Sunnydale?

I remember some visual cues of Angel watching Buffy at the entrance to her old school, and maybe it has something to do with Doyle, I don't know...help me remember which episode I'm trying to pinpoint!

That is in Buffy episode "Becoming, Part One" It the season two ending episode, where Angelus, Dru, and Spike has kidnapped Giles and try to get him to tell them how Angelus is supposed to awaken Acathla, who would then pretty much open up h e l l and allow all of the demons there to come out and play. The one where Buffy kills Angel and Kendra dies. They show a lot of flashbacks, including when Darla sired Angelus, the first time Angelus me Dru, the first time Angel saw Buffy.
