  1. Wasn't it about 65 million years ago, in the Jurassic era? I think that's about right. -Steve

  2. 265 million years about 3 o'clock on a Tuesday if my memory serves me right.

  3. welllll, some rather interesting folks out there would have you believe that the earth itself is only about 6,000 years old, or so.

If that were so, then I wonder at what point the dinosaurs lived?   But seriously......it is a well known fact that dinosaurs lived during the age referred to as the Dinosauric Age.

    what??

    what did I say now?

  4. The first dinosaurs appeared following the great extinctions towards the end of the Palaeozoic, and are presumed to have evolved from the Thecodonts. Around 205 million years ago is suggested as the time of first appearance of the first dinosaurs. So they were around during some of the Triassic (280M-193M years before present), throughout the Jurassic (193M-136M years before present), and on to the very end of the Cretaceous (136M-65M years before present).

For reference, the term 'dinosaur' refers specifically to certain terrestrial reptiles and excludes flying reptiles like the Pteranodon and aquatic reptiles such as Mosasaurs, Plesiosaurs and Ichthyosaurs.

  5. I'D SAY 65 MILLION YEARS AGO, ETC. THEY ARE MYTHICAL CREATURES. THEY FEASTED ON PANDA BEARS OCCASIONALLY. THEY GROPED POOR CRITTERS. SAD STORIES TRULY

  6. old testiment
