  1. The tourist season is just starting in Darwin so extra jobs come up now. WA is thriving they have been having boom times.

  2. There are jobs here in Brisbane in construction, hospitality and many other industries. The mines are mostly north of Brisbane from about Gladstone up. The Bowen Basin coal mines stretch from Blackwater in the south to inland of Mackay.

Get onto some of the job search sites like http://www.careerone.com.au/

    http://www.hogan-mining.com.au/

    http://www.seek.com.au

    Good luck.

  3. Hi log onto

    www.minetalk.com.au

it's a mining forum that also advertises jobs, get to talk to real people in the mines. Ask questions they'll be able to help.

  4. from what i have heard, id go to WA and work in the mines appartnly the pay is unreal!

  5. Don't muck around go WA.

Try for mining catering companies like SHRM, P&O, or try for construction contractors like Leightons etc, but do it now, once your 55 it's becomes an invisible mental challenge for an employer.
