In which places around the world people speak english?

I might go around the world and I'm wondering where to go.

  1. Canada except most of Québec, New Zealand, the British Isles and the ones listed. There are other countries that speak English but not heavily and you may have trouble this includes India, Many countries in Africa and the South Pacific. For more travel destinations you should learn a bit of other languages like French and a bit of some oriental languages.


  2. While a lot of Pacific Islands may have their own dialect you'll find that English is widely understood and spoken due to them being tourist destinations,

    I've been to Quebec and while French is their first language just about everyone there can speak English because from my understanding it is compulsory to study it as a second language in school.Just start speaking English and they'll soon change over for you.

    Also you'll find that English is widely understood and spoken in all the Carribean Islands.

    Many countries that were part of the British Empire still speak English. South Africa,India,Malaysia come to mind readily.

    I'm sure you won't have too much trouble finding someone that speaks English as long as stick to the main tourist areas
