  1. this last season was his best

he finally learn how to pass....a little

  2. The seasons that Shaq was on the Lakers

  3. I would say it was this past season.  During the Shaq years, he benefitted so much from defenses focusing on the big guy that he was able to get easy shots.  So I think he had it easy those years, relatively speaking.

When Shaq left, he tried too hard to be the next Jordan.  He was going for the scoring titles and trying to prove to everyone that he was The Man. That the Lakers were HIS team. He was still a pretty selfish player during this period.

I still think he is a spoiled and selfish player, but I think this is the first year that he has tried to be more team oriented and work within the system.  He didn't seem quite as concerned with scoring titles and personal recognition.  This is probably the first time in his career that he deserved the MVP.  Too bad it wasn't good enough to win a title.

EDIT:  You asked for opinions and I gave you mine.  I don't really care if you agree with me or not.  Sometimes you need to look beyond statistical analysis to get the right answer.

  4. I Would Say The Last One.... Forget About MVP He Showed Maturity

And Led His Team To The Finals Even If He Did Not Get MVP You Can't Take That Away From. And To Think He Did All This The Same Year He Wanted To Be Traded

(I Was Going To Mess With You Kobe Fans And Say That His Best Season Is Anyone With Shaq In It)

But I Decided To Give Him Deserved Props

I Will Get Lots Of Chances To Mess With Yah

  5. both of those seasons were very good for the NBA superstar.  if you had to choose, lakers fans would go between 02-03, 05-06, 07-08.

    2002, 2003, self explanatory

    2005, 2006, 35 PPG,

2007, 2008, MVP, the year that kobe hit a spark with his dunk and good season.

  6. None, Chris Paul was robbed.

  7. 2003-2004.

    Garnett was named MVP.

Kobes best season was 03-04.I would think of this as been his best season because he played against Garnett in Garnetts MVP season.

  8. It was absolutely this past season. He made everyone around him better, and got the Lakers through the toughest western conference in recent history. Sure he scored more points in the previous season but look how much better the Lakers did this season. The best player helps his team win the most games, not score the most individual points.

  9. If it weren't for the MVP this season, I would agree with you, but he got an MVP and i think this was his best season.

  10. 1996-2008

Yep.. All of Kobes seasons were the best, even his rookie season when he was the sixth man.

  11. Definitely this past season. He started passing the ball and won the MVP.

Edit: Stats can be decieving. From watching the games, this year he was much more willing to let other teammates score and he didn't always have to be part of the offense this season. He trusted his teammates this year, and that made the difference.
