In which sense are women and men equal, is there any thing, event, or system that women equal men?

Can women outperform men in any quantifiable way?

If we are equal, how is it said that men are holding women back? Does that not defeat its own arguments?

Is this what in the end makes feminist angry? Knowing for sure!!!

Is it actually time to stop pretending, and face facts?

Yes, women are capable of it.  For years, men went around (and some still do)  with the attitude that men are better than women from leadership to driving a car. (I believe religion is largely to blame for that).   If you men believe that men are superior to women, then you guys should go have s*x with each other and be happy together.

Feminists are only saying that women are just as good as the men, and women are not beneath men in any way.  And yes, there are some men who know that neither s*x is superior.

Those are the facts.

women and men are complete equals. yes, men are physically stronger than women, but that doesn't mean a man is a better person than a woman because he can bench press 300 pounds. i beleive women are extremely strong, mentally, and physically. i mean hello... BIRTH!!?!!

what i like is women argue for equality, claiming we are equal..yet as soon as it comes to divorce....they play the helpless card demaning all sorts of luxuries at the mans expense...

also on date women play the helpless card expecting men to pay for the whole night for them.....wheres your equality there?

they only shout equality when they arnt winning...as soon as they are...they dont care what happens to us

and actually today men are discriminated against more than women....if a man and women go for a job the women gets it regardless or she cries the sexist card....same with minoritiy groups

i went for an interview and i didnt get the job, but a disabled person got it because they had to have a disabled person on the team to show "diversity" is that fair to the person who can best do the job?

women also get long maternity leave ...men dont get much paternity leave......women can use sexual inuendos towards men and think nothing of it...yet when we do the same its sexual harrasment....women can hit a man and any1 that sees it automatically thinks the man did somthing to deserve it.....the tv glamourises women beating men...yet if a program glamourised men hitting women it would be cancelled in a day due to protests

Honestly, besides having more upper body strength, we're pretty much equal.  A woman can run a Fortune 500 company as well as a man could.  A woman could *gasp* run the country as well as a man could.  What's your point?

I think the problem is this: Because men are PHYSICALLY stronger than women (there's no proof that they're stronger in any other way), and people tend to value that above all else, women are seen as weaker.  Also, think about it: The whole "women are weaker" theory is supported even in religion.  Religion tends to dictate how things are (whether atheists believe that or not).  In the Bible, women are these evil creatures that use their "feminine wiles" to lure men into destruction.  Women are supposed to be submissive.  If that has been drummed in your head from childhood, wouldn't YOU think women are weaker than men?

Can a woman become a Catholic priest?  No.  Can a woman be Pope?  Of course not.  I feel religion is to blame for a lot of this.

I don't know.  This is a tough question.  I am sure that some women outperform some men at some things.  And vice versa.  I too wonder what makes feminists angry though, and people in general, and I find it all has to do with love, s*x, lack of communication and empathy.  Call me sick, but I think it's true.

There are some reli strong women and some reli strong men. And there is also reli weak men and reli weak women.

some types of men hold some types of women back! and that could be said vice verser.. . but on the whole women outperform men with exception of physical strength generally speaking. Women don't really need men in this day and age of cloning.. we could create life without men if we really needed too!

women are recognised as having far superior abilities in resisting disease and can multitask etc but men have much better spatial awareness and navigational skills.

  apart from being equal on average  in intelligence the bodies are of course different in many ways.

it i also now known that the brains of men and women are what scientists call' wired up' differently and respond in differ ant ways to the same stimulus and situations. men  having a more logical or 'brutal' way of dealing with people and females  being more emphatic or understanding.

  there is a modern concept  of anything he can do so can I. This has now been debunked but political dogma gets around such facts by making allowances for the so called weaker s*x  and thus the same goal posts are not used in order to show we are all 'equal'.

If you look at a particular area of society, you'll quickly find that there is not too much equality going on right now.  In business, government, the armed forces, you'll find a huge disparity where men are the predominate s*x, especially in roles of leadership.  Historically, there have been too many great minds denied the opportunity to grow, simply because the female s*x was undervalued.  The people in power (old white men) are the ones capable of "holding someone back".  It's not only women who must face this every day, but it seems like if you're not an old, white man, you can't succeed in today's world.  And the people who do succeed, despite all of this?  It didn't come easily and it is still a major issue. With time, our society may grow enough to see the value inherent in all. Get on board a couple of chat rooms and listen to what real women are saying and experiencing.  It's a real eye-opener.

Why don't you apply the same exact argument to BLACK PEOPLE in American culture, who were also denied their equal rights, and see what you come up with?
