  1. f

  2. A.

    The apostophe is replacing the space and 'i'

  3. a

  4. sentence (a)

  5. I venture to say A, as it is marking a shortened word of it is.  That is my guess.  Good luck.

  6. all of the above's  lol

  7. Miss Kitty,

    it is only in a) It's = It is............ up to you

    b) ITS  is a possessive pronoun.If you imagine that cat were yours and  you liked the cat very much- I guess you would possibly have spoken of HER paws or HIS paws and not its paws,that does not show any affection to the animal that had become your pet..

    c) "back into its file" ( If this is no sentence taken from a story in which a person is the owner of the file, then the letter is object-related, then  it should read "its", no apostrophe.

    d) its, object -related   : the train and its journey.

    Have a fine day and, if you like it,  a journey with a train and its (journey-related) surprises.

  8. a) it's is short for it is; the other pertain to ownership

  9. a :)

  10. a) It's up to you to decide what to do.

    sentence b, c, d shows possession. the word " it's " is not for possession. "its" without the ' is. it's stands for it is. which makes sense in sentence A.

  11. A because It's stands for It is.

  12. the first one... see it's is used with an apostrophe so its actually it is, so it would be a}

  13. A is the only one that is correct.

  14. A -contraction for "It is"

  15. think of it's as it is and read each sentence using it is not it's and see which one makes sense.

  16. A is correct.

    You only need an apostrophe in "its" if it's an abbreviation for "it is". An it isn't possessive.

  17. Leter A

    because the 'it's' is a shortened version of 'it is'

    The correct form for the other letter would be ITS'

    hope I was of some help:)

  18. d)The train began it's journey across country.

  19. a) It's up to you to decide what to do.

    It's = it is

    In the other sentence, "it is" doesn't make sense, therefore you drop the apostrophe :)

  20. A.

    The apostrophe means that it is. All the others should not have the apostrophe as its is unlike Frank's.

  21. A --- it's is short for "it is". Read the sentence with "it is"

    and see which one makes sense

  22. I think letter a is right. Because it's means it is .

  23. a.

    it's = it is

    its = possessive

  24. a)

  25. A) is correct.

    The possesive form of the noun "it" does not require an apostrophe.  Only the contraction for "it is" has that.

  26. A it's for it is , b, c and d are all possesive

  27. A.....the others are forms of possession in which the apostrophe isn't needed.
