If you have a positive type blood and you marry someone with a negative type blood it can cause complications in childbirth if the child inherits the negative blood of the father, and is being carried by positve type mother.  these two do no mix, causing problems

I dont think it would matter unless you are planning on having children.  If you are planning on having children..certain people..like some Jewish people (Tae Sachs).  Other than that..I guess its to EACH HIS OWN.

they dont do blood tests in all states nemore in order to get a marriage license, so youd have to figure out what your specific state does
