I want to know the name of suburb or part so that i can find a room there. Your help will be appreciated.

  1. There are many George Streets in greater Sydney.  One George St is one of the main thoroughfares in the CBD of Sydney.


  2. It runs from the north part of Sydney around The Rocks and runs south to places near Central Station, Ultimo and leads further on to Railway Square. From there, Boradway takes over, continuing west, leading to Parramatta Road and such.

  3. I assume you mean George Street in the centre of the city.

    The centre of the city does not have a suburb name; it's called the CBD which stands for Central Business District.

    Its postcode is 2000 (and in some places 2001).

    There are some localities within the CBD that have names such as:

    The Rocks

    Circular Quay

    Wynyard

    as well as several others, but they are all part of the CBD.
