In which western did the star of the film not get on a horse?

Might it be the Roy Rogers Show and could the star (co-star actually) be Roy Rogers' silly sidekick Pat Brady who rode the range in his unpredictable, temperamental, backfiring, jeep he called Nellybelle? Pat Brady was a co-star on the Roy Rogers Show and in some of the Roy Rogers western films. Pat Brady on the Roy Rogers Show had a horse named Phineas but would never ride the horse and the only times the horse was heard of is when Nellybelle would act up and Pat Brady would talk to the jeep, threatening to ride Phineas if Nellybelle wouldn't start. After being threatened to be replaced by Phineas, Nellybelle always started then.

If memory serves me right, Gary Cooper did not get on a horse during High Noon, one of the greatest classic Westerns -- at the end he drove a wagon, but I don't recall him sitting on a horse.
