In which year is it better to take GRE ?in 3rd year B-TECH or in 4th year B-TECH?

i want to study in US.and i am in 3rd year B-TECH .i don't know in which year is it better to take GRE in this year? or in 4th year?

i am a 3rd year student in CSE.if i got good result in GRE in 3rd year itself,and if any 4th year student gets also good result , at first 4th year students are called for counselling ,after one year all the seats in good universities for PG in US may be completed .so,i think that i may not get good universities to do my PG.so kindly answer my question .

I suggest 3rd year that way you can start application process early. The earlier you start the application process the better it is. Also, of you take it the third year and dont do so great, you can retake it.

I reckon in 3rd year if you are above an average student and if outstanding student than in 4th year.

It depends on how good you are in BTech studies. You first need to concentrate on Btech studies as this academics are also important in obtaining admissions in good univs.

if you are confident enough in Btech, you can give GRE anytime when you think you are fully prepared.

I believe in one attempt but a best attempt.
