  1. I'd call it the biosphere, assuming I wanted to call it anything.  This would have to extend from a kilometre or so under the surface to some kilometres up into the atmosphere, seeing as some life forms are known to exist at both those extremes..

  3. If you want the general name for the zone of the earth where life can be found, it is called the biosphere.

    If you want to know in which specific ecosystem of the biosphere one can find most forms of life, i will say marsh and swamps, especially mangrovas. Seas does not contain insects and arachnoids like spiders or scorpions. Land does not contain fishes for example. Swamps are very rich ecosystem.
