  1. In winter your air-con is on "heat" trying to bring the temperature up to the thermostat setting.

In summer your air-con is on "cool" trying to bring the temperature down to the thermostat setting.

    Your air-con's laggin' it, dude.

  2. Not sure hon, do you have air con in your house :)

  3. I'm not sure, but I have the same problem in my house.

  4. I think maybe you were outside and it was so cold,  you got inside and wanted to warm up faster and seemed cooler than you expected.   Then in summer the air outside is moist and more breezy and you come in the air is still and more dry.   That may give the perception that it is too warm.

  5. In the winter it can be that you have drafts coming into the house.  But another cause is very dry air making you turn up the furnace to a much higher level than normal to feel the perception of warmth during the winter.  OK Dudette.

  6. It just feels that way - believe me, I understand!  In Arizona, when the outside temp is 60, we are "freezing"...which is silly, of course.  Some folks back east heat their homes to 62 and that's plenty warm to them.  I personally set my thermostat to 69 in the winter.

In the summer when the outside temp is 90 or higher, you just want relief from the heat so 75 might not feel cool enough at first. Mine is usually at 78 in the summer. Try using fans to blow the cool air around, it will make a huge difference.
