In writing a Cover Letter for an Irish company, what would be a good closing line?

Hello!

I have a general Resume book that says don't use "Best Regards" or "Thank You for Your Consideration" because they are over used. But this is for the USA and the book is a few years old. What would someone from Ireland see as a good closing line?

If you have any other tips for a cover letter from a US citizen to an Irish company I would greatly appreciate that too!

How about "top o' the morning to ya"

I always finish letters like that with:

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours sincerely

My Name

or

Yours faithfully

My Name

If you start your letter with Dear Sir or Dear Madam etc as the salutation, then finish your letter with "Yours faithfully", but if the salutation is Dear Mr or Dear Mrs, then finish it with "Yours sincerely"

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am forwarding my resume to you in hopes of gaining employment with

your company. The enclosed resume should give you a general idea of

my background and skills. In addition to skills listed, I need to add

the desire and dedication I have to an employer who in return offers

a challenging position with the opportunity for advancement and

compensation to equate the effort I put forth.

I haven't had very much work experience in the field I am currently

applying for but I have the physical ability and knowledge to perform

and learn a variety of skills and duties. I wish to make a transition

to another company as quickly as possible without a lag in my regular

work routine.
