In writing a REACTION paper on movies, what are some guide questions that I need to consider?

  You want to tell how the movie made you feel...what emotions it sparked.  Salvatore grew into a sensitive man because of his childhood experiences.  Before he leaves for his friend's funeral, he reflects on those experiences.  His father's death, the way Alfredo (the projectionist) took over as his father-figure, his love for cinema all made him who is is today.  The movie is spell-binding because it takes something as simple and magical as a movie theater and paints it as the world that was Salvatore's "coming of age" influence.   The movies as well as someone as basic as the projectionist touched him and molded him into the man he became.  I'd also touch on the interesting aspect of the projectionist being the one that "shed light" on not only the romantic aspects of life but also the practical ones (by teaching Salvatore how to run the theather and, thereby, providing him with a job later in life.)  

    How's that?
