In yahoo groups how can i neglect the mail one who send the mail again it is send to them via group?

particularly if one person is in a group if the person send the mail to group the same mail is agian send to that person how can i neglect this

  1. let me get this right. if a member sends a posts, they also get it in their mail and you want to prevent this?

    if that is right, that's how a group works, if a member is on individual mail or digest, they should get their own posts as well and there is no setting to prevent this.

    some mail servers do not send you back your own mail- but as for a YGroup, that is how it's suppose to work. you just delete your own post when it comes to your mail

    when you join a group, your options as a member is individual mail, digest, special notice or no mail. there is no option to specify who gets whose mail. this is a group setting an owner can set, of where posts go when replied to however a member at any time can change that default and send it to 1 of 3 addresses


  2. there is a option that u can see in yahoo groups..when u r joining in particular group..it will ask wheteher to receive the email from individual or from group members..so marking that option will be helpful for u to neglect such kind of email.
