In yahoo travel, what does average rating means?

Question

Means people rating the attraction? or people rating trips including attraction? or rating the reviews?

I don´t understand how it works!

It's the average all of the ratings supplied by the users who have given reviews. A five star hotel may only get a 3 star rating from users. If there's only one review, it's worth reading the review to see what the reviewer found wrong with the hotel, it may be nothing to worry about, but if there are ten reviews and the average is 3 stars, I would read the reviews and reconsider booking.

You really need to look at the reviews to see exactly what element of the trip the reviewer is referring to.
