Question:

In yoga class, is it cool if I say "I'm nasty" instead of Nameste?

I'm a dude who does yoga. However I don't care too much about the relaxation and meditation part of yoga, I go for the physical aspect. Also being around cute babes in the downward dog pose is another benefit. At the yoga studio I go to, the girl/guy ratio is like 3 to 1 on a bad day. I was once in a class of 15 girls and me the only dude. NICE. My eyes tend to do a lot of wandering sometimes. So at the end of class instead of saying Nameste, whateva that means, I say I'm Nasty. Am I offending any yoga spirits doing this? Will my chakras get mad at me and give me cancer? What are your thoughts?

  1. First of all..no such thing as yoga gods.. and no you will not get cancer but you CAN offend people.

It is a bit childish so stick to the original dialog :)

  2. haha i love this question. i doubt you will get cancer though. i'm sure the yoga gods will forgive you.

  3. I think you might be a cool dude, just having some fun but at the end of class you say Nameste instead of nasty and you might end up on a date with a few of those ladies instead of disrespecting the art, yourself and others.

  4. the word is NAMASTE (nah mah stay)

it means"the divine in me recognizes and appreciates that which is divine in you"

Frankly, I don't think there is much of the divine in you at all.  And if you don't want to say namaste, don't.  But dont insult those who appreciate the sentiment by saying something so juvenile.

  5. I feel bad for anyone in that class with you.

  6. yes.

i am a yoga spirit myself.

    so i will eat you.

and the next time you go into your yoga class,

    there will be no girls.

only g*y old perverted men. (no offence to those that are g*y, old and perverted and are men).

    have a nice day. :)
