prepaid cell phone plan?

We have kids heading back to school and cannot afford bells and whistles:

all we want is cheap per minute calling & texting.

how much you looking to spend......virgin mobile has 200 min. for $20, but u have to buy minute packs every 30 days. and they have 1000 texts for $10. or net10 has 10cent minutes alll the time, and texting is 5cents a minute. so like half a unit. and its at least $30 every 2 months.

Metro PC would be the way to go...you get free long distance and

free texting ( which kids love to do)
