In your Opinion, What Associates Degree is the most respected?

Example, Music, and History, degrees are fine, but good luck finding a job with it unless you want to be a teacher. A business degree could land a job, but doesn't sound all that impressive. It's kinda vague. But then, who am I to say, I haven't a degree at all. What do you think?

  1. Honestly an Associates Degree (AA or AS which is generally offered at your college) is not really all that respected. It doesnt really matter what you get your AA or AS in; just get to school at get your Bachelors degree. That makes a statement.

  2. you could right books with a history degree

  3. If you plan to go on, a two-year degree in any subject is a good start.  If you hope to secure employment without going beyond an associate degree, a degree in a vocationally focused area will be more helpful.

  4. Hate to disappoint you, but you can't teach with a two-year degree!  In my state, you need a Bachelor's degree to start, and you are required to get your Master's within a few years!

I think that an Associate's Degree in the nursing field is very respectable.  You can always continue schooling after working for a few years.  A 4-year degree will increase your status and your pay!
