In your honest opinion, who do you think would more likely get booted first from the SF 49ers organization?

Alex Smith or Coach Nolan?

They looked really good tonight against Chicago. Every one turned it up a notch.

That would be hard to tell.  It depends on what happens when the season ends.  The 49ers look good.  Alex Smith has been looking mediocre as usual.  JT O'Sullivan looked great tonight.  He moved the offense well.  If the 49ers do not have a winning season, Nolan will be gone.  The 49ers may keep him or trade him after the season is over.  I see good things this year with Mike Martz running the offense.  Hopefully Martz can do with JT O'Sullivan what he did with undrafted CFL player Kurt Warner.  That would be awesome.

Alex Smith He sucks and needs a new place. They will trade him for a 4th round pick

Alex Smith, Nolan is a good coach and Alex is a bust. Its easy to look good when they barely played their starters on defense. They need help on special teams though letting the non hesters run up and down the feild on them

Smith was a product of the offense at Utah. He operated out of the shotgun mostly. I see him going first due to contractual money involved. Nolan will probably get three years.

Well obviously something isn't going right there.  The #1 QB pick from 05 (smith) and the guy who looked like a lock to make a run to start this year (hill) are loosing snaps to jt sulivan.  Whats going on with that?

if smith fails, nolan fails. theyre joined at the hip. usually the coach goes before the player since the player makes so much more money but we will have to see how well JTO really performs. smith's timing is off, a lot of his passes were late, he needs to take more reps with the first team.

ASmith will be gone this offseason. JT is gonna start and Smith will leave. Smith may just need a change of scenery. Maybe he should go backup in SD with Turner.
