In your opinion, What is the worst car ever made?

I think its a Ford pinto. Which car do you think is the absolute worst? And why

the isetta it was made by bmw in the late50's to sometime in the 60's it was just an ugly little car only held 2 pepole and it looked like a bubble how ugly.

I think its the Ford Escort...but when they stopped making the Pinto....it turned into the Escort...so its basically the same thing....Huge piece of c**p.

The FSO made in Poland in the early 80s was truley awfull. I had one and the gear lever fell off after three weeks from new and at 11 months old and with 8000 miles on the clock it was given a rebore under waranty.

The Pinto was an excellent vehicle for an economy offering. The

Yugo is unquestionably the worst ever made. Much of the car was made of cardboard.

Following the Yugo I would nominate the '98-2000 Honda Accord V6. What a POS.

Yugo - hands down

body was thin metal, interior was all plastic, and it had 54 horsepower - total

It sold brand new for less than $4,000

Lancia Beta (Italy)

NSU Prinz (Germany)

Cadillac Allante (USA)

All the above were underdeveloped, unreliable, and fell short of the driving dynamics of the time they were current.

Thats my opinion, I will be interested to read other peoples opinions.

The ford pinto was poorly designed in the fact that when you rear ended it, it would easily catch on fire.  There were several other cars like this that were overlooked.  Such as the Mercury galaxy.  Other than those, from an engineering stand point I would have to say the Chevy Chevette.  In order to replace the spark plugs(common maintenance practice) you had to completely remove the engine from the car to replace the rear two spark plugs.

And any SUV, because many people drives SUVs on the road. FOR ONLY ON ROAD. You don't need a SUV on the road unless you drive is heavy terrain.
