  1. First: the language that is spoken by your friends and family.

Second: the language that will help you professionally or in global business.

Third: the language that makes you happy.

    Voila your language learning formular.

  2. Chinese, they are making all our products and it won't be long before they take over everything.

  3. It really depends what you want to do with it. If you want to go holidays some places more than others, mabye you should learn that places language, or if you have friends wh speak a language or are foreign it could help to speak theirs.

    http://www.krysstal.com/spoken.html

That website tells you the 30 most spoken languages in the world, may help you decide

  4. If your in America, then you better learn Spanish.

  5. umm what race are you?? i think u should learn eather Spanish or hmong because thats the type of race that usally u see around and many places will hier u cuzz u would be able to speak to them and translate

  6. why you dont learn chinese. I think it's very useful.

  7. php

  8. germna. it is a much harder language and looks better on collage applications.

  9. English!  Too many people are not very literate here in the USA.  If you are speaking about a second language - SPANISH.  Everywhere you turn around people are speaking Spanish and it's very common and you'll use it more often than any other language.  Polish is popular, but Spanish would be the best bet.

There have been many times I wish I spoke Spanish.

  10. I think you should go with spanish or french

because those are probably two of the most growing languages besides english and they would be helpful in mostly any part of the world

  11. Chinese --> Mandarin

  12. Spanish....it's s**y and useful

  13. You should learn Spanish because so many people who live in the United States speak Spanish. It will be really useful and will allow you to meet new people and have new conversations with people of other cultures. Also, Mexico is so close to the U.S. and most people there speak Spanish. It will be useful there.

    Also,

If your looking for a job, speaking Spanish helps a lot.

  14. both Chinese & Spanish will be very useful for an American.  Spanish language will help you if you're trying to get a future job in the service industry (social work, hospital, education, etc.)  Chinese will help you get a job in the business world.  China is currently the fastest grawing economy as they plow through their industrial era.  soon their economy will loom on the doorsteps of the US.  Chinese languages will be very important in the future.  i'm strongly suggesting to my daughter that she learn not just those two but any others she can find time for.

  15. Depends on you motive. If you want to use it for mere communication purposes than you should learn the one that you most come into contact with (e.g. Spanish for Americans). If you want to make comparably more money out of it than I suggest Chinese or Russian (though both are quite difficult). For seducing puropses French would be nice I think ;)

  16. Mandarin because if you look at how everythings 'made in china' theres got to be something we need to understand

  17. icelandic, because Djöfull var gott að sjúga böllinn á pabba þínum í síðustu viku

  18. It depends what you want to do. If you are going into engineering - learn italian, computing, learn french, banking spanish, communications japanese.

Or if you want to live or holiday frequently somewhere a different language is spoken.

French is quite a good choice as it is very easy to transfer french language skills to spanish or italian.

  19. Only learn a language if you're actually going to use it, otherwise it's wasted time.

  20. spanish or arabic, because many people speak these languages in the world, also arabic is easy and the only language which never had mistakes in functions.

  21. spanish..one of these days it'll be the dominant language in the united states :D

  22. If you're in the US, you'd better learn Spanish, as now all the labels for everything are in Spanish and then English in smaller print. [which annoys me, even though I'm fluent in both languages.]

  23. Swahili because it's somewhat rare and it is always an advantage to know something others don't. ;)
