I have to go with Magic.  He was a natural born leader, which was probably his greatest asset.  He revolutionalized the PG position and brought showtime to LA.  He could play any positon on the court.  His court vision was incredible, and the dude could run the break to perfection.  Not to mention 5 NBA titles and 3 MVPs.  All this compacted into a career cut way too short.  The fact that some Laker fans put Kobe ahead of him on this list is mind boggling to me.

Magic Johnson right now he led the lakers to 5 titles and was the leader of the laker teams in the 80s, but if Kobe stays with the lakers for the rest of his career it can be kobe if he gets more than 5 titles because he already has numerous laker records and 3 rings.

Between Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Kobe Bryant really hard to decide.

Kareem didn't play his whole career with the Lakers. He played a couple of years in the bucks before coming to the Lakers. Same thing with Shaq.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.  With the Lakers, he won 5 titles, 4 of his 6 MVP's,  and one Finals MVP (in 1985) as the team's venerable Captain.  Of course, Magic was the catalyst of the Lakers' offense during the "Showtime" era and later on became the primary option on offense, but Kareem was always the main man.  When the team needed to score a basket, they went to Kareem's skyhook, and Cap delivered most of the time.  During his tenure with the Lakers, the team had always been known as Kareem's team, a fact that even Magic acknowledged.  And I guess no other Laker has scored more points, collared more rebounds and blocked more shots than Kareem did.

I can't argue with Magic, Kareem, Wilt, Shaq, or Kobe. But in my opinion I would have to say Jerry West. C'mon now, the NBA still uses his logo to this very day. His logo is on every basketball, every jersey, and anything involving the NBA. He wasn't called Mr. Clutch for nothing.
